We designed and manufactured a ‘teach your kids to make stuff’ kit –  the idea being that kids can make stuff while learning a little about the very basic principles of mechanics like counterweights, gearing on pulleys, braces and supports etc.

We are using items easily available in a home workshop or at the local hardware store so that the kids can expand on designs and add hardware later if they want to.
